How InventoryIntel works
AI finds the possibilities. Our maths verifies what is safe to launch. Three screens take you from the stock that is holding your cash to a campaign you approved.
Before you start: InventoryIntel installs from the Shopify App Store and opens inside your Shopify admin. Shopify verifies who you are, so there is no separate account or password. It then reads your products, variants, stock levels, prices, costs and recent orders, and shows the progress of that first sync.
Dashboard: see what is at risk
After the first sync, the Dashboard shows the cash tied up in stock that is slowing, ageing or dead, and which products it sits in. The figures come from your own catalogue, stock levels, costs and recent orders, and refresh automatically every day.
Opportunities: review what AI found and our maths verified
AI searches your catalogue and sales history for ways to recover that cash: a markdown, a clearance sale, a bundle with a product that does sell, or a wholesale route. That is the part AI is good at, looking across everything at once and spotting possibilities a person would not have time to.
Then the maths takes over. Each opportunity is checked against your margin floor, the demand evidence in your own sales, what it is expected to recover against the margin it gives away, and your guardrails. The confidence in those numbers is shown beside it. An opportunity that fails a check is not offered for launch.
You read what is left, with the reasons in plain language, and approve the ones you want.
Campaigns: launch and track
An approved opportunity runs in your store as a Shopify discount. Nothing launches without your approval, and you can pause or cancel a campaign at any time.
Sales made through a campaign are attributed to it, so the Campaigns screen shows what each one recovered. On a plan with a performance fee, this attributed revenue is also what the fee is based on.
What the maths checks
- Margin floor. The price after the discount must stay above the margin and price floors you set.
- Demand evidence. Your own sales history has to support it. An idea with no evidence behind it does not pass.
- Expected return. What the campaign is expected to recover is weighed against the margin it gives away.
- Confidence. How much the numbers can be trusted is worked out and shown, so a thin estimate is not dressed up as a sure one.
- Your guardrails. Products you protect are left alone, and discounts stay inside the limits you choose.
