Frequently asked questions

Answers about what the AI looks for, what our maths checks before anything launches, approvals, pricing and your data. Something missing? Email support@sparande.co.uk

What is InventoryIntel?
AI finds the possibilities. Our maths verifies what is safe to launch. InventoryIntel searches your Shopify catalogue and sales history for ways to recover cash from slow and dead stock, checks each one against your margin floor, the demand evidence and your guardrails, and launches only the campaigns you approve. It is a Shopify app made by Sparande and runs inside your Shopify admin.
Who is InventoryIntel for?
Shopify merchants with slow-moving, aged, overstocked or dead stock that is holding cash the business needs elsewhere, and the people who decide what to discount, bundle or clear.
What does the AI do?
It searches your catalogue, stock levels and sales history for ways to recover cash from stock that is not selling: for example a markdown, a clearance sale, a bundle with a product that does sell, or a wholesale route. It also writes the plain-language explanation of each one. It proposes; it never launches anything.
What does “verified” mean?
Before an opportunity can be launched, InventoryIntel checks it with numbers from your own store: margin floor, demand evidence, expected return, confidence, your guardrails. The price has to stay above your margin floor, your sales history has to support the idea, what it is expected to recover is weighed against the margin it gives away, and the confidence in those numbers is shown. An opportunity that fails a check is not offered for launch.
Does anything launch without my approval?
No. The AI proposes and the maths verifies, but a campaign only starts when you approve it. You can pause or cancel a running campaign at any time.
Will it discount products I want to protect?
No. Products you protect are kept out of every opportunity, and discount limits, margin floors and price floors are checked before anything can launch.
Does it promise a result?
No. The expected recovery on an opportunity is an estimate worked out from your own store's data and shown with its confidence. Once a campaign runs, the Campaigns screen reports the sales it actually made.
What will I see in the app?
Three screens. Dashboard shows the cash tied up in slow, ageing and dead stock. Opportunities lists what the AI found and the maths verified, ready for your approval. Campaigns is where approved opportunities run and where the revenue each one recovered is tracked.
How much does InventoryIntel cost?
Starter is free to install, with a performance fee on recovered revenue only. Fixed plans start at $8.99 a month, by catalogue size. Every plan is billed through Shopify. On Starter, the rate is shown in the app and on Shopify's approval screen before you approve anything.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Annual billing saves 20% on Growth, Accelerate, Velocity and Scaling; 25% on Enterprise. You choose monthly or annual billing when you pick your plan.
What counts as recovered revenue?
A sale made through a recovery campaign you launched with InventoryIntel, attributed through that campaign's own discount. Your regular storefront sales are never counted. This is the only revenue a performance fee is charged on.
Does it work with platforms other than Shopify?
InventoryIntel is built for Shopify stores. It runs inside your Shopify admin, and recovery campaigns run in your Shopify store.
Does InventoryIntel store my customers' personal data?
Its recovery workflows are built on product, inventory, order-line and campaign data. They are designed not to store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or street addresses, and InventoryIntel responds to Shopify's privacy webhooks.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Shopify session data is removed and app access is revoked when you uninstall. When Shopify sends its shop data deletion request, the shop's app data is deleted unless the law requires us to keep it. If you reinstall within a billing period you have already paid for, you can restore your settings or start fresh.
